Hunting Trip Details
Recommended calibre: Shotgun with slugs in calibre 12 or 20 is the only permitted weapon on this hunt.
These are new hunting grounds for us, which we tested in January 2026! The hunt was very well organised, the drives longer than in Europe but it worked excellently. Expect 3-5 drives per day.
What was most surprising was that we only used dogs on one of the days. The beaters we used on the other days were the best we've ever used in any country – they were extremely skilled!
Our outfitter is very professional and participates every day during the hunts, and the country surprises with its friendly culture and service-mindedness – absolutely excellent!
As always on driven hunts, not all drives are the same, but in most of the drives, we saw a good number of wild boar – during one drive on hunting day two, we saw more wild boar than ever before, regardless of the country we compare to. Between 100-200 wild boar tumbled down the mountainsides, an amazing experience that you might also get to experience next time (Never seen anything like it)
We shoot with shotguns and slugs. We borrow (for free) Turkish semi-automatic shotguns with 5 rounds, manufactured using Benelli's Inertia system – they worked! On the first day, you will be able to test your weapon, which is marked with your name, with different slugs. If you have one, we recommend bringing a red dot sight; we will buy the slugs there.
The hunt begins from sunrise until sunset. You will experience areas tourists don't see; we drive through small villages up into mountain areas, and not least, you will experience hunting in large orange groves!
The hotel we stay at in Agadir (we fly there directly) is excellent. It is located in the middle of the city and is very suitable for us, but we choose to only include breakfast so that those who wish can choose one of the nearby local restaurants if they want dinner – the lunch we get is like a dinner, so it's not always necessary but up to each individual.
On top of experiencing an exciting hunt in Africa, we have included a day of sightseeing where local guides will show us around everything from markets (large and fantastic) to attractions around and in Agadir – here you combine a hunting trip with seeing and learning about the history of this famous country!
We recommend you try this; the group that tested the areas for us was truly thrilled, and everyone wanted to try the same hunt again!
We are driven out in cars, before being posted up/down hillsides normally, or in valleys with steep walls – the landscape is spectacular and must be experienced. The strange thing is that wild boar actually survive and thrive in these barren areas, and they do!
During the test hunt, the group of 9 hunters harvested 46 wild boar. Of course, there were quite a few misses as 219 slugs were fired, so as you can imagine, you need to be quick, but that makes it all the more fun!
Remember, the temperature there is superb – during the first period, you can expect 24-28 degrees, the second 20-25 degrees, so we are talking about a pleasant Norwegian summer. PS. We CAN send larger groups, but to ensure a more pleasant social hunt, we have chosen to use a small group of 11 plus our tour leader – that is a perfect number!
We have two groups travelling there; the test hunt was in January. For next year's hunt in January, we will go earlier to be able to hunt in the orange groves and not conflict with the harvest!
