Travel letter

Jørgen, one of our long-standing regular clients, harvested a remarkable red deer in Munkedal, Bohuslän during the autumn season of 2025. The animal was verified as one of the largest shot in the area in 2025, and the trophy is indicative of the type of age and growth conditions that make the Swedish coastal forests so special.

The trip was conducted as a private stalk in collaboration with our Swedish partners. Jørgen was out early, patiently working the wind, and got the opportunity at a deer that had evaded hunters for several seasons. A well-placed shot at a reasonable range concluded a hunt that had begun long before the trigger was pulled.

We congratulate him on an outstanding achievement and thank him for another good hunting partnership in the past season. Venator Tours offers similar excursions in Sweden upon request — please contact us if you wish to hear more about availability and periods.
